If you grew up eating those little purple sweets, this colourway will stop you in your tracks. Parma Violets is that exact shade, a soft, dreamy lavender that manages to feel both nostalgic and completely fresh at the same time. The base is beautifully tonal, shifting between a confident mid-purple and softer, almost white sections where the dye has pooled more gently. There are no speckles, no bold contrasts, just a clean, flowing colour that lets the yarn speak for itself. It's the kind of colourway that photographs beautifully and knits up even better. 100% merino wool, hand-dyed. The gentle tonal variation means it works brilliantly in almost any stitch pattern, from simple stockinette where the colour shifts can really breathe, to more textured cables and lace where the softness of the purple adds a romantic quality without overpowering the detail. Parma Violets is for the person who knows exactly what they want, and what they want is this.
