Lighting Light the smudge bundle and let it burn for 10-15 seconds Light the Palo Santo, let it burn for 30-60 seconds. Il. Smudging / Purification Gently shake to extinguish the flame, leaving the white smoke to naturally diffuse, or use it for 3-5 minutes of clockwise purification. For spaces: Hold the bundle and move clockwise from the entrance, allowing the smoke to fill every corner. For people or objects: Let the smoke circle clockwise around or come into contact with them.
