I originally discovered this chair on the beaches of Isla Grande, just off the coast of Brazil. Variations of the "panamericana" chair can be found throughout South America. The tr out PanAm offers a few modifications for extra convenience and durability: Pressure-treated pine wood, stainless steel hardware, weather-resistant paint accents, and a handle for easy folding and portage. The PanAm works equally well indoors. Some say it feels like a mini wooden hammock. Others claim they feel more relaxed just by looking at it. Nothin’ wrong with that.
