Cory's prefer to have planted aquariums with hiding spots for them to have cover from time to time. We highly recommend using either sand substrate, or small-non sharp gravel due to the fact that they are usually sifting through the substrates. Corydoras are omnivores and it is recommended that you feed them algae wafers and regular pellet/wafers as well.
