The work attire worn during these activities came to be known as "samue", which later became the basis for the traditional Japanese workwear Samue. This piece features a 25mm-wide twill tape drawstring, creating a unique silhouette. The back pocket is lined with mesh, providing breathability and comfort. This fabric incorporates a design inspired by Kiri (Paulownia)—a tree traditionally used in Japanese patterns, furniture, and crafts—and Kiri (Fog), which consists of fine water droplets suspended in the air near the ground, into a hybrid three-layer material. ※Three-layer fabric consists of three bonded layers: an outer layer, a middle layer (such as a specialized film), and an inner lining. The special film in the middle layer provides waterproof functionality while maintaining breathability, preventing stuffiness inside the garment.
