In this workshop, Makers will learn about recycling and the science behind paper. They will compile paper scraps and convert them into a malleable pulp which they will then form into a bookmark. Once they have mastered the pulp process, they will also incorporate seeds into the pulp and mold their pulp into shapes that will become seed pods that can be planted or gifted. These workshops will give Makers hands-on experience in understanding the various forms that paper can take. They will participate in a practical recycling project that demonstrates how used material can be reused in different ways. The kit provides enough supplies to create endless amounts of paper seed pods - just supply the paper!
