A fascinating species native to China, southern Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. It is distinguished by its slender, pointed, mottled foliage and tall stems carrying delicate , uniquely shaped flowers. These plants appreciate good airflow and consistent root moisture—adding perlite to the potting mix is a great way to achieve this, while sphagnum moss in well-drained pots also works well. Avoid letting them dry out completely between waterings. Once mature, specimen-sized plants can carry many growths and flowers at once, creating a stunning display that resembles a flock of birds in flight! Current plants should be opening early March!
