The Oviraptor, whose name means "egg stealer", was a small bipedal dinosaur which lived during the Upper Cretaceous period. It is believed to have been a carnivore and fond of eggs , which it probably smashed using its serrated beak. This alert dinosaur measured approximately 2.50 m and had a long crest on its head.
