Premium Grade Paprika is 120-140 range ASTA spice grade it is a little warmer than Sweet Hungarian, but not as hot as the Hungarian Hot. It also has a slight smokiness, but isn’t a smoked paprika, which have a stronger smoke flavor and often used in bbq rubs. When customers ask me for a general purpose paprika, I suggest they use this paprika which is often used in Spanish and Hungarian cuisine.
