Rare and choice antique scrimshaw sperm whale's tooth engraved by the NAVAL ENGAGEMENT artisan circa 1850. The tooth depicts a whaleship (B on the house flag) in the process of cut ting in the whale and the reverse depicts a furious naval battle with a British flag. Blue greenish and red colorations.
