For example, you could use it to make sure your instruments don't crowd the same frequency space, or limit some harsh tones that came through the recording. It has a very accurate FFT display and has been engineered to sound as clean as possible. But Parity EQ takes things a step further by enabling every point on the curve to be movable using different modulation options. For example, points could be made to cycle in a set pattern using an LFO, or slowly expand as the music gets louder with an envelope follower. It opens up a lot of opportunities to create interesting filter soundscapes.
