This Parker 45 Desk Set comes with its original base, box, and ink converter. An empty cartridge is also included for syringe filling. The desk set originally sold ~1968, and was o ne of their more luxury items. The pen itself has been cleaned and restored, and is in great working and writing condition. The base is made of slate and walnut, and has a chrome magnetic socket so that the set can break down flat into the box if needed. The sticker on the base reads "This product is made of 300,000,000 year old Harpswell House slate combined with select black American walnut. The soft, random slate grain of black on black and the contrasting wood grain are permanently sealed to protect the color and finish." Show more
