Our LARP foam Parrying dagger was designed to be fully usable in hard fencing. It is therefore completely identical in design to our swords and has the same durability of hilt, core and the 35cm Doge sword blade. This hilt can also be fitted with one of our standard 70cm long blades (or anything between) to create a full length sword. The choice is yours. Parrying daggers are typically used as an off-hand weapon when fencing rapier or sidesword. As the name implies they were designed to parry, or defend, more effectively than a simple dagger form, typically incorporating a wider guard. They may also be used for attack if an opportunity arises. The blades can be either 70 or 80 cm long and can be shortened. There are 3 types of fibreglass cores to choose from, rectangular 15x6mm and 16x8mm and round 10mm. You can also choose the metal shade of the hilt and blade and the type and colour of leather grip. All our blades are reinforced with Kevlar at the tip.
