Chamaecrista fasciculata Central Iowa source Partridge Pea is a yellow-flowered legume up to three feet tall, typically found in prairie bluffs or riverbanks. These annuals can col onize readily and most never need to replant. Consider planting them with other plant partners to keep them in balance. Seeds feed a variety of birds and fowl, including bobwhite. Plant in full sun for best results.
