A very pretty and also sophisticated Kashmiri rug of the 1950s. The ivory cartouche shape field has a pale blue centre medallion and spandrels. Dense and elaborate patterning of fl ower, foliage and vines. Ivory palmette and floral main border; pale blue guards. Robust handle and good condition.
