Bright purple with infused aromas of cherry, blackcurrant and dark chocolate. Supple and juicy in the mouth, with spice-accented cherry and fresh herb flavours. Finishes on a tangy note, with a good length. 2023 - 13.5% abv This winery is a joint venture between Jorge Ordonez and Rafael Canizares, who is also the winemaker. It is located in the Cuenca in the east of La Mancha. The soil is sandy with a lot of clay and pieces of chalk beneath and slate on the surface. The altitude of the vineyards is 660m. The vines produce very low yields of 1-2 kg per vine as they are 32 years old. The terroir has a Mediterranean climate with very warm summers with little or no rainfall and mild, wet winters.
