The Pasquini & Bini Ercole Rectangular Air-Pruning Container is the window box version of the Ercole, bringing the same vertical slot air-pruning system into a long, rectangular format. Made from recycled post-consumer polyethylene, injection moulded in black, with slots running the length of all four sides. Roots that reach the slots are exposed to air, stopping circular growth and triggering lateral branching instead, building a denser root structure across the full width of the container. Only one size available: SPC 70 (69×28.5×H28.5 cm, 45 L), which gives a generous 69 cm working length suited to multiple plants or a single sprawling specimen. A good fit for growers who want the benefits of air pruning in a linear setup: Balcony and terrace planting: The rectangular footprint works naturally along a railing, wall edge, or low ledge, letting growers fit flowering plants or trailing varieties into a linear run without sacrificing root health Multiple plants in one container: The 69 cm length gives enough room to grow several plants side by side, each developing a healthy root structure without circling into its neighbour Herbs: Works well as a dedicated herb run on a balcony or kitchen terrace, where keeping roots healthy across a full growing season means less frequent replanting and more consistent harvests
