The exquisite passion blue silk covered compact mirror features illustrations of swallows, passion-flowers, woodland and architecture in the city of Bath, with shimmering sky blue colour tones. This silk covered mirror is part of the Moon Tree collection, it is an immersion into winter woodlands, rich in narrative and metaphor. Forests are the lungs for our planet, and in a way the lungs for our soul, and wellbeing. This collection of silk scarves, bags, purses and limited edition prints takes whimsical inspiration from a 17th century writer who hypothesised that swallows fly to the moon to hibernate, each print layers my illustrations of the moon, swallows and winter woodlands. This luxurious handmade compact mirror would add a splash of colour and style to compliment your wardrobe, and makes an ideal gift. Handmade, 100% silk cover with a metal backing and glass mirror. This silk covered compact mirror measures 8cm in diameter.
