Description: JB variety has been developed and grown by solely one grower in the Lower Daintree region of North Qld. On first sight the skin colour attracts attention with its vibrant deep purple speckling. When cut, it oozes with juice and is followed by a strong passionfruit perfume. Then when it comes to the taste it is much sweeter and less acidic then most passionfruit, resembling more a granadilla a flavour but not sickly sweet.
