Pat Wiles art is always something different. I have only one print, actually a photo print, of this Bison Maiden. The original was a watercolor, and her female subjects always have a haunting look about them. It's how she portrays herself, I believe. I am pretty sure Pat sent ,me this one years ago with a batch of her other beautiful pieces that I bought then. This is a special piece, even as a photo. And .... I have now dug out 3 of her bison works. Those are done is sand, grasses and other plant parts; paint colors mixed from her Arizona dirt and other natural materials. These are just beautiful pieces We sold a lot of her composite works. Only had a few of her feminist pieces .... and this is the last or both. The paper is also hand made by the artist. Artwork (about 4" x 5") is lightly set on the matt board (8" x 10") so these will fit ready made frames if you choose.
