In efforts to use my beautiful fabric scraps, the patched frame came to fruition. This framed piece is made with silk noil (raw silk) fabric that was dyed with Indigo, Weld, Logwoo d and Annatto. Then using pigment extracted from earths ocher to make printing ink, a stamp is used to stamp flowers onto the fabric and framed out with maple wood.
