Patchwork Downs is an original artwork from Mandy Galbraith's Patchwork Landscape Collection, inspired by the sweeping hills and open landscapes of Hope Valley in Derbyshire, Engla nd. Built through layers of acrylic paint, collage, texture, and expressive mark-making, the work explores the rhythm of rolling hills and the changing light across the countryside. Warm golden tones weave through the landscape, creating a sense of movement and openness while reflecting the agricultural character of the region. Part of a collection inspired by the landscapes surrounding Eyam, Hathersage, and Edale, Patchwork Downs captures the ever-changing beauty of the natural world and the stories embedded within the land.
