Maximum Class Size: 6 Level 3: Improver - Confident using a sewing machine and have completed a few simple projects such as bags or cushions, ready to explore patchwork and quilting This one-day workshop is perfect for anyone ready to move beyond simple sewing projects and explore the world of patchwork and quilting. You'll be guided through the full process of making a small block quilt (approximately 1.1m x 1.1m), from designing and piecing your top layer to binding and finishing. We'll begin with inspiration to help you plan your layout, then cover rotary cutting, accurate piecing, layering with wadding, machine quilting techniques, and binding. You'll also learn the basics of hand quilting for adding extra detail at home. By the end of the day, you'll leave with a beautiful quilt top and the confidence to start more patchwork projects of your own. Please note that we will have a short 30 minute lunch break in order to get the most out of your day.
