My 'beautiful offcuts' pile had gradually become a goldmine of great quality checks and stripes, and I decided the time had come to combine them into a shirt. Mostly linen - a few Merchant & Mills - with a couple of complementary cotton prints, this absolute eye-catcher has a lovely feel and weight to it. Finished with side splits, a hanging loop and found shell buttons, as ever, this one-off piece was lovingly hand made by me entirely from found/not-new materials - in this case, precious offcuts from previous projects.
