24 inch total length single vintage sterling chain all glass shells every bead is made by hand individually in Ric Seel’s studio with ancient techniques. In Africa they would strin g necklaces made of cowrie trade shells, trading beads, and precious metals and use them as bartering tools. These one of a kind pieces made by me and Mackksaray are modern references to those important trade necklaces from the past.
