Patriotic Snippets is a packet designed to familiarize students with the patriotic songs of the nation. It is also designed to teach fluency, both with scale degrees and the piano keyboard. Melodies are notated by scale degree (NOT FINGER NUMBERS) and are to be played in all 12 keys. Melodic range includes: 5-finger whole scale extended range: Lower small number degree indicates one octave LOWERHigher small number degree indicates one octave HIGHER Charts for transposition are given for each melody.
