Patron Tequila was founded in 1989 by American entrepreneurs John Paul DeJoria & Martin Crowley to create the best tequila in the world. By 2002 they had built their own distillery Hacienda Patron where they continue to make Patron Tequila today in small batches using brick ovens to cook the agave & small copper pot stills to impart more flavour into the bottle.
