Buy the August Jacket sewing pattern from Pattern Fantastique. Reminiscent of Bauhaus ballet costumes, the August has a strong sculptural form. Different construction methods for different fabric weights mean you can have an August for all seasons. The Bound August is designed for pre-quilted fabric or a thick blanket weight coating and has a contrast bound finish. The Faced August is designed for heavier weight denim or canvas fabric and is finished with a full facing and topstitching for a utilitarian edge.
