Available Classes: Mondays, September 14 - October 5 from 6-9PM with Coco Length of Program: 4 weeks Duration of each class: 3 hours Location:404 McArthur Avenue, Unit "D" (end unit in the strip mall) Max class size: 8Min class size: 4 Important Notes - Please Read *Once you register online, you will not receive an additional confirmation email from EcoEquitable. By registering, consider your class confirmed. *Sewing classes take place in the main building beside our boutique storefront. For this reason, please arrive at our storefront under the purple banner 5-10 minutes before the start of your first class so you can walk over together. *Any classes that fall on a stat holiday will be rescheduled and extended by 1 week to accommodate. *In the cold and wet months, please bring indoor shoes. *We require the minimum number of people to run the class otherwise it may be cancelled. Please check back regularly as more classes get posted! You will learn: 1. How to use a French curve and other rulers 2. How to draft a basic skirt block using your measurements 3. How to cut and sew a muslin 4. How to fit a muslin to a body 5. Your project will be drafting and fitting a fitted sheath skirt pattern to your own body! EQUIPMENT: Students are required to bring 1-2 meters of muslin fabric to class to construct your mock-ups Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machines and rulers to class FOR STUDENTS TO BRING: A notebook for taking notes The Instructor may provide you with a list of extra materials you may need for the in-class project if needed Health and Safety: Individuals who enter our programs are encouraged to: Wash your hands frequently Bring and use hand sanitizer Clean your workstation before and after class Refund and Transfer or Cancellation Policy: EcoEquitable requires a notice of transfer or cancellation via email in order to process a refund. Written notice of transfer or cancellation 15 business days before the class start date, EcoEquitable will refund the class fee minus a $20 administrative fee. Written notice of transfer or cancellation 6-14 business days before the class start date, EcoEquitable will refund 50% of the class fee. Transfer or cancellations of 5 business days or less before the class is set to start are non-refundable. If the minimum number of students do not register, EcoEquitable reserves the right to cancel the class, in which case students will be notified via email at the earliest possible convenience and issued a full refund.
