This original block print began as a paper cut-out before being carefully drawn onto a silk screen by hand, allowing the energy and spontaneity of the original scissor marks to rem ain visible in the final design. The motif nods to the playful simplicity of Matisse’s paper cut-outs. The design is available in four colorways: a bold, classic red, a bright paint-box blue, and two softer tones—a gentle sap green and a delicate pale pink. Each sheet is printed with hand-mixed, vegetable-oil–based inks on matte 90gsm cream paper. A single sheet measures 20 × 30 inches. Show more
