INSPIRATION: I love how these delicate primroses grow wild in my area. I found these ones in a nature preserve and their little faces seemed to be inviting me to pause and take not ice. Ephemeral beauties tucked in the weeds. Part of my “Color Notes” series, this painting includes thick color swatches of paint along the bottom edge of the painting. Inspired by the art of nature journaling and of notes in music, these Color Notes paintings celebrate the signature colors used in the creation of each piece. DETAILS: This is a framed original painting. 8x10” acrylic painting on 11x14” panel, total size 12.5x15.5” including the frame. Signed on the front and finished with a gloss varnish.
