Pavel Barber teamed up with us on a new curve and design CTC Strong ABS Blade. The blade will fit standard Senior shafts. We made some changes on this batch based on feedback we received. The Strong is for the player that doesn't mind some extra weight on the end of the blade, their priority is for the blade to last as long as possible on rough surfaces. The Strong still uses the reliable black ABS Core. We added a single layer of wood to the backhand of the blade to increase the strength and durability of the blade compared to the V2. After testing we determined the blade feel was best with the reinforcement on the backhand instead of forehand. This blade is aimed for hockey with a ball on rough to smooth outdoor surfaces. Usage with Pucks/Biscuits is OK but may not last as long, depending on your 'style of play'. Weight: ~200g Sr Standard size Curve Chart: Bao/PM9: Shallow, closed mid-heel curve. Controlled Shooting with easy accurate passing and backhands. Great option for ball hockey. Straker/P88: All-purpose curve. Shallow closed mid curve. Easy passing and all around shooting. A shop favourite for ball hockey. Scholcz/P92: Open, mid-toe curve. Easy shooting and elevation. Quick release. Great for both puck and ball. Barber/P28: Slightly open toe curve.
