American Paw Paw Tree - Asimina triloba combines the flavors of banana, melon, vanilla and pineapple. American Paw Paw is the largest native North American fruit reaching up to six inches in length. It can grow as a tree or shrub. In spring Paw Paw's produce musky, maroon flowers with three petals. The outer layer of a Paw Paw is not attractive as the skin can be green to brown to almost black.
