PAX: Nocturnus adds three new types of cards to the game PAX, giving the players more ways to beat Rome – or help Rome withstand an assault from escaped slaves who threaten to rebe l against the empire. With the additional cards, game play takes longer since the game lasts until the deck runs out. PAX: Nocturnus can also be used when playing solo, or when combining two PAX games to allow 5-8 players to compete at once.
