Apply PBS Prep directly to the boots and spread evenly using a de-ice boot scrubbing sponge. Allow PBS Prep to dwell for 2–5 minutes to soften old treatments. Soak the sponge in water and agitate the surface to remove residue. Wash and rinse thoroughly using a neutral pH aircraft wash soap. Dry completely with clean microfiber towels. Boots are now ready for sealant. Step 2: Protect with PBS Boot Sealant Apply PBS Boot Sealant using a microfiber applicator, wiping in one direction. Apply 3–5 thin coats, allowing each coat to fully dry before applying the next. Dry time may increase in high humidity.
