This is a genuine Mazda part that can replace your clogged valve. The PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve is a one-way valve that recycles crankcase gases back into the engi ne to burn. If PCV valve clogs and gets stuck in the closed position it can result in oil leaks, poor fuel consumption, engine surges and possibly black smoke or a rough idle.
