The Pool Cover-up is a hooded poncho-style towel, perfect for the pool or beach. There are two options – a standard hooded poncho with optional side snaps and a more fitted hooded top with sleeves. SUPPLIES:You will need a small amount of twill tape or bias binding (regular or jersey). If you are making the side snap version, you will need 4 snaps for the smallest size and 6 snaps for all other sizes. RECOMMENDED FABRICS:Main Fabric: Terry towelling or other medium weight, soft, absorbent fabric. For the sleeved version stretch terry is recommended. For the regular poncho non-stretch is fine. As an alternative, you can also make the pattern from polar fleece or sweatshirt fleece to make a brilliant camping blanket! Lining: lightweight woven cotton or cotton/Lycra jersey.
