This variety also has a very histo ric background with seeds said to have been found in King Tuts Tomb. It was said that these plants were grown and harvested for his afterlife. Seeds were later discovered in his tomb 5,000 years later and brought to England where they were cultivated and shared amongst friends. Though, some have denied this, the conditions of Egypt is very dry and allow seed longevity making this story quite possible.
