handmade mesh trucker hats featuring oversized bone peace embroidery stitched entirely by hand using real vintage japanese silver lleaf threads. available in black and brown. the b lack hat uses real vintage japanese silver leaf thread.the brown hat uses real vintage japanese gold leaf thread. each metallic thread is traditionally made in kyoto nishijin by applying pure silver or gold leaf onto lacquered washi paper before being hand-cut and wrapped around a core thread by craftsmen. originally developed for kimono and obi embroidery and weaving. in other words:this is not normal hat stitching. every bone is individually attached by hand using vintage japanese metallic thread that was never intended for trucker hats in the first place, which is exactly why we did it. slightly aggressive silhouette with enough curve to hide eye contact at gas stations and art shows. expensive because:– handmade things take longer– vintage materials are difficult to source– attaching tiny bones one by one is objectively unreasonable– mass production would probably ruin it keep away from:– conversations about networking– people who say “let’s circle back” in real life– startup podcasts– anyone wearing a blazer at a house party recommended for:– people who call themselves “a creative” instead of explaining what they do– person who says “archive piece” about a hoodie from two years ago– people who stand outside the function more than inside of it.
