This two day workshop will consist of creating a lovely Autumn table runner (or wall hanging if you choose) entitled Peace & Prosperity, which is based on an antique Thanksgiving postcard. It is made from beautiful hand dyed Blackberry Primitives wool in rich Autumn colors and features a linen banner with letters, wooly florals, thread vines, and a sweet pumpkin perched atop an olde urn. **The design is not finished just yet, but I think you can get a pretty clear idea of the project. On day one we will concentrate on tracing & cutting our template pieces, stitching our background pieces together and stitching our linen banner in place. On day two we will continue on with stitching our letters, florals, etc. :). You may not finish the project during this workshop however, you should manage to come quite close or, at the very least get a really good head start. Kits includes All wool and linen necessary for the project. I highly suggest a pair of Karen Kay Buckley scissors as the blades are serrated which really helps when cutting out small pieces ...especially letters.
