I have always loved Storm at Sea quilts, but I wanted to break with tradition and create an exciting new look. Just by changing the centre of the block enabled long flowing lines a nd large circles to merge within this colourwash quilt. The quilt is finished with an aptly named Ocean Waves block, using a wide selection of light & dark fabrics. This quilt uses a mixture of simple Foundation pieced units & traditional piecing. A truly organised scrap quilt. Sort through your stash and start gathering your fabrics, light to dark. Finished size 72” square. Borders could be added to increase the size. Show more
