Peacock Tiger is one of a series of (amazing) medium and large scale painting/block prints that Kour Pour has created in recent years. This one is our personal favorite and, as it so happens, the artist's favorite as well. Kour Pour is a LA-based artist of British-Iranian descent (b. 1987 in Exeter, England). Recently granted US citizenship, Pour's experience as an immigrant with a mixed-raced background is the foundation of his work. Weaving together representational imagery, abstract patterning, and ornamental elements, he creates new hybrid artworks that trace cultural exchange around the globe.
