Pear pin is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi sabi, finding beauty and harmony in asymmetry, worn surfaces and slight imperfections. It has a matte textured surface creat ed by hammering and firing layers of enamel. After much sanding, it’s accented with lacquer and then dusted with pure gold or silver powder. It’s sealed with a matte varnish spray. I enjoy working with simple, sculptural forms, creating timeless and wearable art jewelry. Size: 4cm x 2.5cmCare: Enamel is glass fused to a metal surface. Avoid dropping or hitting your jewelry against hard surfaces as it may result in chipping, cracks and scratches of enamel.
