The Peavey Decade is a 1980s 10-watt, 1x8 soli d-state practice amp that became a cult classic for its aggressive, mid-forward distortion, heavily popularized by Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. Known for its raw, "broken" transistor tone, it is prized as a studio secret weapon. Controls are straight forward: normal/saturation inputs, pre/post gain, and a 3-band EQ.
