The Pebble Beach series began on the Super Famicom in 1992, moved to the Mega Drive in 1993, and reached the 3DO in March 1994 — and this is the version where the CD finally paid off: sharper graphics, a redesigned swing gauge, video commentary before each hole, and advice recorded with the professional Craig Stadler, who had won the Masters in 1982.
