These pieces aremade with a stones from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color. All links are soldered shut. These stones, along with all the stones in my jewelry, have been found by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. Yes, we spend a lot of time at the beach! The majority of these rock are basalt. We may have drilled or cut them but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated. They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen. I try to find fairly thin rocks and I think you will find them to be much lighter than you would expect. Each piece is unique. These earrings are an oval silver shape that has been imprinted with a pebble texture. it also has some oval holes on the bottom half. They have a dark grey bezel set rock. they have sterling silver attached earwires. This sale is for this item pictured.
