A really good French bistro table with a round marble top and heavy cast iron base. This one has the exact kind of worn, old surface that makes these pieces so good—the iron has to ns of texture and patina, and the marble has soft gray veining with visible surface wear from years of use. The base is made from cast iron with three curved legs, decorative joints, and a detailed center support. It has a really sculptural look from every angle, and the weight of the iron gives the table a nice solid feel. The feet are shaped and slightly decorative, while the center stretcher work keeps the base visually interesting without feeling too ornate. The top is a round gray-and-white marble slab, measuring approximately 29.75” across. It has natural veining, scratches, surface variation, and age-related marks that feel completely appropriate to the piece. The marble is substantial and sits directly on the iron base.
