ACC217 – Peerless-AV Extension Column Shelf for Media Devices The Peerless-AV ACC217 is an accessory shelf that attaches to Peerless-AV extension columns via a pole clamp, providin g a stable, open platform for media players, cable boxes, streaming devices, and other AV equipment in column-mounted display installations. Product Description The ACC217 solves a practical challenge common to column-mounted AV systems: where to place the media source devices that feed the display. Rather than running cables to remote equipment racks or leaving devices on the floor, the ACC217 attaches directly to the extension column using a pole clamp, positioning the shelf at any point along the column's vertical length. This allows the installer to place media devices at a height that is convenient for access and appropriate for cable management purposes. The large, open shelf surface provides clear access to media device ports, buttons, and ventilation without the obstruction found in enclosed equipment housings. This is particularly valuable in installations where devices need to be swapped, reprogrammed, or inspected without removing them from the mount system. The pole clamp design also means the shelf position can be adjusted during or after installation without disassembling the column hardware. The ACC217 is designed to integrate with Peerless-AV's extension column ecosystem, making it a natural complement to EXT-series columns and column-based mounting configurations used in retail, corporate, and exhibit environments. For AV integrators building complete column mount systems, the ACC217 eliminates the need for separate equipment shelf solutions that would not align with the column's structural footprint. Key Features Pole clamp attachment design connects directly to Peerless-AV extension columns and allows shelf positioning anywhere along the column length. Large open shelf surface provides unobstructed access to media device ports, controls, and ventilation. Compatible with Peerless-AV EXT-series and other extension columns for integrated system configuration. Adjustable mounting position on the column allows the shelf height to be set during or after installation without disassembly. Designed to hold media players, cable boxes, streaming devices, and other compact AV equipment. Eliminates the need for separate floor-standing or remote equipment shelving in column-mounted display systems. Simple setup accommodates quick access and device management in commercial AV installations.
