If you need a boost of phosphorus and potassium in a water-soluble form, our patented PeKacid 0-60-20 is just the thing. It's easy to dissolve and is ideal for fertigation systems. This phosphoric acid in safe crystalline form is enriched with potassium to enhance your crops’ nutrient uptake. It also has an acidifying effect which ensures your lines don’t clog up. You can even use it to clean your driplines in the process. PeKacid is perfect with hard water or calcareous soil and thanks to its acidity, you can also use it in a tank mix with calcium and magnesium. It’s low in sodium, free of chloride, and highly soluble at 670 g/l water (at 20 °C). Its acidifying effect will prevent clogging in your fertigation lines and regulate the pH level in soil solution for better nutrient uptake. Depending on the amount of bicarbonate HCO3 that needs to be reduced, PeKacid might be enough, eliminating the need for additional acidifiers. PeKacid has a potent acidifying effect: 0.24 g will buffer 1 mmol (61mg) HCO3 or 1 g will buffer 4.2 mmol (256 mg) HCO3. PeKacid can be used briefly to clean pipes. We recommend doing this between cultures. Put 3.5 to 5 kg/m3 of PeKacid in the solution and run the system for 15 minutes. Then rinse the system with clean water for 15 minutes.
