Leather Pelham roundings are used to convert the Pelham or double rein bridle to a single rein. One strap attaches to the snaffle bit and the other strap attaches to the curb, or w eymouth bit. The rider then only needs to hold one pair of reins, making this a popular choice for young riders where the stronger action of a pelham bit is required.
